Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi sounded the poll bugle in Madhya Pradesh's Morena on Tuesday while he was addressing a rally in the state. The Congress president left no stone unturned to take on the ruling government. Rahul Gandhi was seen mimicking Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an unsparing attack. While addressing a rally, he said:

"Narendra Modi becomes the PM and asks people not to call him Prime Minister but instead, call him 'chowkidar' (watchman)" Mr Gandhi said, speaking in a manner characteristic of PM Modi.

Not only this, Rahul Gandhi accused the Modi government of helping industrialists.

"The chowkidar calls you people 'mitron' (friends) but calls Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi, (businessmen wanted in the 11,000 crore PNB scam) and Anil Ambani 'bhai' (brother)", he added.

Assembly elections will be held in Madhya Pradesh on November 28, in which the Congress is trying to dislodge the BJP, which has been ruling the state for three straight terms.

Earlier this week, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dholpur, Rajasthan while he was addressing a mega rally in the state. Modi Government has "failed to provide employment to the youth in Rajasthan", he stated.

"Narendra Modi ji made a promise that he will provide employment to the youth of the country. He said that under Make In India, goods like Trousers, T-shirts, shoes, microphones etc. will be produced in the country. He (Narendra Modi) has broken his promise. You know why? because he wants to help the richest of the rich people in India. Turn your phone, see it reads Made in China. I want it to be Made in Dholpur, Made in Rajasthan".

Furthermore, he also explained how tourism can flourish in the state of Rajasthan:

"I want the youth of Rajasthan to manufacture mobile phones so that whenever a youngster in China will click a selfie, everyone will see made in Dholpur at the back of the phone. Then the people in China will wonder where is Dholpur. We will bring him in Dholpur, make him our tourist, earn via tourism and send him back. This is what we want".
