Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray congratulated the voters who voted "fearlessly"
Changing political dynamics, a swing of votes in favour of Congress and the budding curiosity of results unfolding in the five states, such has been the assembly elections of 2018.
Acknowledging the on-going vote counts, Thackeray shared a statement-
In an election always someone has to win and someone has to lose. But this time the result in the four constituency election has led to a change. I congratulate the voters of the four states who fearlessly rejected the EVMs, money and muscle power. They also did not waste time in question such as "What's the Option?" This is real courage.
The Shiv Sena chief has been mounting pressure on the Centre to build Ram Mandir on the disputed site in Ayodhya. He even went to Ayodhya with his party leaders in the 'Chalo Ayodhya movement.'
