Will Rahul Gandhi sack those involved in 1984 Anti-Sikh riots case ?

Why today is historic because the same witness from ten years ago speaks to me today and asks about justice. In the case, witnesses such as Gopi Kaur speak about their gory struggle of that night of 1984.

I have been covering the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case from the Karkardooma court in Delhi for the past ten years. It's historic that I am back here after ten years covering a case in which Sajjan Kumar had got acquittal then.

Why today is historic? Because the same witness from ten years ago speaks to me today and asks about justice. In the case, witnesses such as Gopi Kaur speak about their gory struggle of the night of 1984. She speaks about how her son had to drink his own urine as he was thirsty for water when the riot-crazy-mob was in front of their door. She speaks about her husband who was burnt alive in front of her and the only request he made to the mob was to not kill him in front of his children.

Victims of the riots wait for Sajjan Kumar's surrender:

Sajjan Kumar surrendered here today. The Delhi High Court on December 17, 2018, gave a historic verdict calling it genocide and crimes against humanity. It also said that Sajjan Kumar and others committed a crime. It said that they engineered political factors that were being given help by insufficient law and order agency. While giving the verdict the judges had tears in their eyes.

Today we witness the same scenes at Karkardooma court. Even as people waited for the triumphant moment when Sajjan Kumar surrendered, we at Republic TV ask Congress party, what will be the fate of others like Jagdish Tytler and Kamal Nath. Will they meet their true end? Will there even be a probe against them or will the Congress party sack them or will they be given plum positions such as chief minister of Madhya Pradesh?

It was 2014 in an interview to Arnab Goswami our Editor-In-Chief, Rahul Gandhi had admitted that some Congress party people were involved in the riots. Isn't it time for Congress party to admit the names of the people and sack them? Isn't it time for them to admit to their loses or will they continue turning a blind eye?
