Srinagar: An accident occurred where a minibus carrying a wedding party slid off the road and fell into a gorge while travelling from Balmatkote to Badar village in Reasi, J&K according to reports on the early morning of Monday, December 25. This unfortunate incident resulted in the loss of two lives and injuries to over 12 individuals. The accident took place near Damini around 6 am.

According to reports, a man named Mohd Ashraf (25) was found dead, while another individual, 17-year-old Tahir Ahmad, passed away while being transported for specialised treatment in Rajouri. Among the injured were nine girls aged between three and 19 years old. Immediate rescue efforts were initiated, and the injured were promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.
