4 Dead, Over 30 Injured in Bus-Truck Collision in Gujarat's Kachchh

Kachchh: Four people were killed and over 30 others sustained injuries after a bus rammed into a truck in Gujarat 's Kachchh district.

Superintendent of Police Bhuj Kutch (Western) Vikas Sunda informed that the four people have been declared dead while those injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

"Four people lost their lives and more than 30 were injured in a collision between a truck and a bus near Mundra in Kutch district," SP Sunda said.

The accident took place near Mundra in Kachchh district, police said.

In  a similar incident earlier, A 68-year-old woman was killed and 14 others were injured after two cars collided near the Narharpur intersection on the Ayodhya-Prayagraj Highway.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) East, Durgesh Kumar Singh, one vehicle was carrying pilgrims returning from Ayodhya after taking a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh , while the other was transporting devotees from Ayodhya to Prayagraj.

"The body of the victim has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigations are underway," officials added.
