Attention Delhiites! This Key Road to Delhi Airport Will Remain Shut for 2 Months

New Delhi: Plans of travelling via flight from Delhi in the near future? If yes, know that a key road to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the national capital will remain closed for a period of two months. Delhi Traffic Police has issued alternative routes to ensure smooth traffic.

Traffic Update: Key Road to Delhi Airport Closed for 2 Months

In a latest traffic update, the service road on NH-48 from NSG Office to Mahipalpur Petrol Pump, that goes to the Delhi Airport, will remain closed for two months for repair work. Apart from specifying alternative routes, the advisory has also said that commuters going to their workplace, airport, hospitals or railway stations are advised to carefully plan their travel with sufficient time at hand.

The advisory as shared by the Delhi Traffic Police on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) says, “The soil on the service road from NSG Office on NH-48 to Mahipalpur Petrol Pump is on the verge of collapsing. In view of the safety of commuters, the service road on NH-48, from NSG Office to Mahipalpur Petrol Pump, has been closed for repair for the next 60 days. As a result, traffic will remain affected from Gurugram to Mahipalpur.”
