Bengaluru/Viral News: A Bengaluru based bride's video of 'Zero-Waste Wedding' is going viral on social media.

The video shared by the instagram account herbeshwari showcases the glimps of how a 'Zero-Waste Wedding' looks like. The viral post comes with an interesting caption that says, ‘I do not know if this is what experts would consider a zero waste wedding but we did not generate any plastic at the event and did everything we could to minimise our footprint:) It was only because of the cooperation of our families that my dream of a zero waste wedding was possible My mother was the genius behind it all, she planned and organised the whole event and it was very fulfilling for me that our union happened the way it did.’

In the viral video bride named Dr Poorvi Bhat can be seen cherishing her life long dream of ‘Zero-Waste Wedding’.

According to the bride, she didn't want a fancy wedding plan or a big budget larger than life wedding.

The mantapa was made of sugarcane, which was later fed to cows once the wedding was over. Also, no single person used plastic cups and plates to serve food to the guests; instead, they used banana leaf and stainless steel cutlery to serve food to the guests.
