Bhopal to Face 5-Hour Power Cut Today: Check Affected Areas, Timings

Bhopal: Residents of Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh , will experience power cuts on Sunday, as the electricity company has scheduled outages in more than 35 residential areas. The company has announced that these interruptions are necessary for maintenance work to be carried out by their employees in the affected areas.

Power outages will last between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location. Officials have advised residents to complete any essential tasks beforehand to minimize inconvenience during the planned power cuts.

Where will the power cut happen

The areas of Ibrahimpura, Sultania Road, Peer Gate to Subhash Nagar, Ekta Puri, Semra Gate, Ishan Vista Colony, Gulmohar, Janaki Nagar, Kailash Nagar, Durga Nagar and the surrounding residential areas will see power cuts. 

Where and at what time will the power cut take place

• Chowk Bazar, Char Batti Chauraha, Hathikhan, Ibrahimpura, Rameshwaram Deluxe, Arvind Vihar, Housing Board Quarters, Chintaman Road, Sultania Road, Peer Gate, Noormahal Road, Unani Safa Khana, Madwai, Rethghat and surrounding areas will see power cut from 9am to 2pm
• From 9am to 3pm: Subhash Nagar, Ekta Puri, Semra Gate, Kailash Nagar, Durga Nagar, I-H Sector, Industrial Area and surrounding areas.
• From 10am to 2pm in Gaurav Nagar, Ishan Vista Colony, Barkhedikalan, Housing Board Colony and surrounding areas.
• From 11am to 12pm in Basantkunj, Savoy Apartment, Gulmohar, DK Gold, Shweta Complex and its surrounding areas. From 11am to 1pm in Janaki Nagar and surrounding areas.
