Bangalore: A hoax bomb threat message found in a staff building restroom at Kempegowda International Airport caused panic on Wednesday morning. The threat scrawled on a bathroom mirror in the Alpha 3 building, warned of an explosion targeting the airport management and staff offices within 25 minutes.
The threatening message was found by an airport employee who immediately alerted the security forces. The message triggered an immediate response, with security personnel, including a dog squad and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officers, conducting a thorough search of the premises.

After the inspection, authorities confirmed that the threat was a hoax, bringing relief to the concerned personnel.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fake threat message might have been written by a member of the staff. In response to the incident, a formal complaint has been lodged at the Airport Police Station.
