New Delhi: Two coaches of the Tejas Express coming from Bhubaneswar to Delhi derailed near Ghaziabad railway station, causing minor injuries to some passengers. Fortunately, the train was slowing down as it approached the station; otherwise, a major accident could have occurred.
According to media reports, the incident occurred about 100 meters before platform number four. As soon as the information about the incident was received, RPF and railway officials promptly reached the spot.

The passengers in the derailed coach were transferred to another coach. The wheels of the coach behind the luggage compartment went off the tracks.
The reason behind the accident is being investigated.
