Woman’s Body Found Stuffed Inside Suitcase in Chennai, Probe Underway

Chennai: Police on Thursday recovered body of a woman stuffed inside a suitcase Thuraipakkam area in Chennai. The identity of the deceased has not been established yet. The body was found at around 9.30am this morning.

Police have launched an investigation into the matter. More details are awaited.

In a similar incident, an abandoned suitcase stuffed with corpse of a woman was recovered from inside a stormwater drain near Nallur in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruppur district in February 2022.

The matter had come to light after passersby alerted the police about the blue-coloured suitcase with bloodstains, after spotting it on busy Tiruppur-Dharapuram highway.
