Naxals allegedly killed a 33- year-old man in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on the suspicion of being a police informer, an official said on Thursday.
The deceased, identified as Kartam Hunga, was hacked to death with sharp weapons by the ultras at his village Elarmadgu under Bheji police station area, the police official said.
The victim's family members reached Konta police station along with his body and lodged a complaint in this connection, he said.
According to his family, the Maoists accused Hunga of being a police informer before killing him, the official said.

He, however, said that the victim was not associated with the police.
A case was registered in this connection and a search was launched in the area to trace the assailants, he added.
