‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ actor R Madhavan took to his Twitter to share pictures with scientist Nambi Narayan. Showing his support towards the ISRO scientists, Madhavan wrote that 'it is still history in the making'. For those unaware, Chandrayaan 2's Vikram Lander was scheduled to make a soft landing between 1.30 am and 2.30 am. However, the ISRO Chief announced that the communication with the lander was lost at an altitude of 2.1 km and data is being analyzed.

R Madhavan highlighted that his feeling suggests that it was because of the 'fine braking thrusters' that might have been frozen shut and later went on to share his theory on why the mission was still very successful. Madhavan is currently shooting for ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, movie based on the story of former Indian Space Research Orgnisation scientist Nambi Narayanan, where he is not the actor, but also the director, producer and writer. The actor had made headlines for the resemblance with Narayanan.

ISRO ON THE DEVELOPMENT

Prime Minister Modi also tweeted his support to ISRO. He was present at the ISRO centre at Bengaluru. He motivated the scientists and thanked them for their service to the field of science and their contribution to the nation. Following the development, many netizens came out and showed support for the scientists and lauded their efforts. Shortly after, '#weareproudofyou' started trending on Twitter and many citizens posted positive messages expressing support for ISRO.
