CRPF constable shoots himself in Delhi

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable allegedly shot himself with his service weapon near Pakistan Embassy in central Delhi on Monday, police said.

Constable D Rambabu was rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre by his colleagues and is currently being operated upon, a senior police officer said.

Around 3.30 pm, police had received information that the constable shot himself with his service weapon near Pakistan embassy, the officer said.

Police are investigating the matter, the officer added.
