New Delhi: The Delhi government has launched a unique initiative to provide free coaching to 1.63 lakh students preparing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ). According to the officials, the program aimed to support government school students in their pursuit of higher education, particularly in the medical and engineering fields. As per reports, the Delhi government has announced free coaching for CUET and NEET aspirants from government schools.
The Delhi government officials stated that the initiative aimed to help students secure admission to top colleges and crack medical and engineering entrance exams. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Education Minister Ashish Sood signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BIG Institute and Physics Wallah to provide free coaching to 1.63 lakh students studying in Delhi government schools.
The move by the Delhi government is being considered a historic step, providing students with quality education resources and bridging the gap between government school students and their private counterparts. The program will offer 180 hours of online coaching, starting April 1, with six hours of classes daily. The students will receive structured PDF notes and regular tests to ensure they're well-prepared for the competitive exams.
As per reports, the Delhi government has partnered with BIG Institute and Physics Wallah to provide special coaching for NEET and CUET 2025 preparation. The collaboration aims to empower government school students, giving them the tools to excel in these high-stakes entrance exams without the burden of costly private coaching. Education Minister Ashish Sood asserted that this initiative will ensure a brighter future for Delhi's students, helping them secure admission to top medical colleges and central universities.
