Amravati: As Andhra Pradesh grapples with catastrophic flooding that has claimed 35 lives over the past three days, drones are now being employed to aid relief operations. The state administration has utilized drones to distribute food to those in need in the affected regions.
On Monday, eight to nine drones were deployed to deliver food packets to approximately 10,000 people. The state plans to add up to 35 more drones on Tuesday to further support relief efforts.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that he has requested the central government to classify the flooding as a national calamity. He further stated that at least 17 people have died in the recent floods and rain-related incidents.
