Class 12 Student Mistaken for Cow Smuggler in Haryana, Chased and Shot Dead
A class 12 student, mistaken for a cow smuggler was chased by five cow vigilantes and then shot to dead in Haryana's Faridabad; the accused have been arrested.
Faridabad: In a shocking incident reported in Haryana's Faridabad, a student of class 12 was chased and then shot dead by a group of cow vigilantes after they mistook him for a cow smuggler. The group of five people, who are the accused in this case, have been arrested by the police and an investigation is underway.
Student Chased and Shot Dead After being Mistaken for Cow Smuggler
The student was allegedly chased in a car and then eventually shot dead by a group of cow vigilantes in Faridabad.
Aryan Mishra and his friends Harshit and Shanky were mistaken for cattle smugglers and were thus chased for almost 30 kilometres near Gadhpuri on Delhi-Agra National Highway.
Members of Cow Vigilante Group Arrested, Investigation Underway
The five members of the cow vigilante group were Adesh, Krishna, Saurabh, Anil Kaushik and Varun.
All the accused have been arrested almost ten days after the attack which took place on August 23.
The victim who was hospitalised after being shot, succumbed to his injuries a day later.
While the accused have been arrested, the police is conducting a thorough investigation.
