Bengaluru: Former-Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has slammed the Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal over the brutal murder of the Bangladesh MP, who was inhumanely killed and lynched into pieces by the accused. In an exclusive conversation with Republic Media Network, Bommai lambasted the TMC-led government in the state, saying that the incident has proved that there is no law and order in the state. The former chief minister stated that an infiltrator killed the Member of Parliament (MP) of Bangladesh, which happened because of the appeasement politics by the Mamata Banerjee government for the sake of votes.
Responding over the incident, Bommai stated, “First of all there's no law and order in West Bengal. The MP has been murdered and lynched into pieces. He has been murdered by an infiltrator and this is happening because of appeasement by the Mamata government for the sake of votes.”

Bommai Calls For Special Security System in Border States
“They come across the border in a scandalous manner and their number is swelling. They are voting in Indian elections and therefore West Bengal is dominated by infiltrators. These infiltrators are with criminal backgrounds and have settled across the country and they are a threat to the nation,” the senior Karnataka BJP leader stated.
“They do any kind of crime for the sake of livelihood and safety. For the sake of votes Mamata Banerjee is damaging the security fabric of the country,” he said.

Asserting that the country needs to think about implementing a special security system in the border states, he said, “The parliament has to think about a special security system in the border states. The situation is worse than what it was in Jammu and Kashmir previously. West Bengal and Mamata Banerjee are synonymous with anti social activities. She is doing what the CPI(M) was doing previously in West Bengal.
He further added, there's no law and order and the police have become dummy. “Playing with infiltrators has become a dangerous thing and the centre should act in a strict manner.”
