Assam: An ISKCON bus struck a large pothole on National Highway 27 at No. 1 Nachanguri in Assam's Bongaigaon district, injuring four passengers on Saturday. The bus, registered as WB-41E-3911, was carrying nine Vaishnavite preachers from Thakurbari in Bijni, Chirang, to the ISKCON temple in West Bengal's Mayapur.
The injured individuals have been identified as Swapan Das (34), Nirbhaya Gaur Haridas (40), Dayananda Das (30), and Narugopal Das (30), all affiliated with the Mayapur ISKCON Temple. They were immediately taken to Dr. House Clinic in No. 1 Nachanguri for medical treatment.
The accident was caused by the bus hitting a large pothole.
