Ram Mandir Inauguration: Now, Helicopter Ride to Ram Temple in Ayodhya by UP Tourism

Devotees can reach Ayodhya via UP Tourism's helicopter services for the Ram Mandir inauguration on January 22.

Lucknow: The nation is excited about the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, which is days away. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol will take place on January 22, 2024 at the sanctum sanctorum.

Devotees are planning trips to Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir inauguration, booking tickets for trains and buses. With the newly inaugurated Ayodhya International Airport, flight tickets to Ayodhya are also being booked at a fast pace. The flight tickets are as cheap as Rs. 4,000 as the starting price from certain destinations.

Now, there is another mode of transport that will be available for ardent devotees of Lord Ram to attend the consecration ceremony on January 22.

Along with the inauguration of the Ram Temple, a new helicopter service to Ayodhya will also be launched on January 22 by the Uttar Pradesh government.

Jaiveer Singh, Minister of Tourism & Culture in the UP government said on January 8 that the department will start helicopter services to Ayodhya.

"The helicopter services will start for devotees visiting the city. We are also planning to start water services. Airport services have already started," said Singh. “It will be ensured that all facilities are being provided to devotees who will be thronging the city to witness the inauguration," he added.

Expecting a huge rush of devotees for the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya, the capacity of the railways will also be upsized.

Pran Pratishtha ceremony to be performed by PM Modi

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple inauguration is set to be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the presence of dignitaries and guests from all walks of life.

PM Modi urged citizens to celebrate Deepavali or Diwali on January 22 this year by lighting a ‘Shri Ram Jyoti’.

"This historic moment has very fortunately come into our lives. We have to make a new resolve for the country and fill ourselves with new energy. For this, I urge all the 140 crore countrymen to light Shri Ram Jyoti in their homes on January 22 and celebrate Deepavali," the PM said.
