SIT orders subway salads and diet coke during interrogating Majithia

Special investigating team (SIT) probing multi crore drugs case against SAD leader Bikram Majithia ordered subway salads along with Diet Coke.

Chandigarh: Special investigating team (SIT) probing multi crore drugs case against SAD leader Bikram Majithia ordered subway salads along with Diet Coke. The order of salad and coke was delivered in the middle hour of questioning to Majithia. 4 salads and 4 diet cokes were delivered and it is pertinent to mention that Majithia and his three lawyers were facing the questions of SIT. Though questioning has been started from 11.30 am and still underway. Sources revealed that during the questioning, SIT took a break and asked for the salads and diet cokes.

Simultaneously workers of Akali dal are sitting on the protest since morning and opposing the action against Majithia. Though Akali dal termed it as political vendetta. Majithia before entering in the office of SIT spoke to media and said that he was not scared of getting arrested. Majithia added that he will continue his voice against the government to expose them on several parts.

The workers of akali dal decided to continue their protest till the time Majithia questioned will be ended. Outside SIT office heavy police deployed to maintain law and order and akali dal workers had their lunch and tea at the protesting site only.

Bikram singh Majithia was questioned in multi-crore drugs case against him registered in 2021 during the regime of Charanjit singh Channi as CM Punjab. Majithia was earlier arrested before the punjab assembly elections and secured regular bail.

Meanwhile, AAP bounced back on the allegations saying that SIT is doing their job with any political interference.
