The exhibits depict the earthquake's impact and recovery efforts.

The structure's symbolic elements evoke a sense of remembrance and healing. Vastushilpa Sangath's meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful design make Smritivan a testament to both architectural excellence and commemorative purpose.

Vastushilpa Sangath LLP Wins Big At GADA 2023 Awards

The Global Architecture Design Awards (GADA), an initiative undertaken with the aim of “discovering the most forward-looking and innovative designs through a diversified and inclusive perspective”, are organized to acknowledge design professionals, while also recognising the work of project developers in the fields of architecture, interior, landscape, lighting, etc.

The Sangath Studio

Launched as a platform to promote design for a more sustainable future, GADA's competition allows entries conceptualized or built in the last five years – from architects, landscape architects, designers, design companies and developers, from across the countries. There is, however, only one rider: Projects can be submitted for one or more categories of awards, but the winners are eventually chosen based only on a single project, and not for a body of work.

Influenced by masters of 20th-century architecture, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret and Louis Khan, Doshi has the ability to interpret architecture and transform it into built works that respect Eastern culture while enhancing the quality of living in India.
