Hiring for job roles nowadays has become very different from what used to happen a decade ago, now you have to fill out a form, share things about yourself and many other things. So when Dipalie Bajaj shared an invitation for the job applications, she never thought about what she’ll come in front of while checking the “why are you a fit for this role?”
This incident happened when Bengaluru based CEO Dipalie was checking out the applications of a full stack engineer and saw one of the profiles in which the applicant shared an undeniable reason to give him the job, that she shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
In the form, a section was dedicated on why the candidate thinks he would be a good fit for the job role. The applicant answered this with all honesty and said, if I didn’t get the job I would not be able to marry my childhood love and also explained how the girl’s father will only let the two of them marry only after getting a job.
The question in the form was, “Why are you a fit for this role?” for which the candidate replied, “I believe I bring a unique blend of Full stack that aligns well with the requirements of this role. Also if I don't get this job I would never marry my childhood love because llenges. her father say u will only marry her if you have a job.”
In the caption of this post Dipalie wrote, “hiring can be fun too.”
This post has garnered more than 1.6 lakh impressions and 3,300 likes. In the comment section user’s shared their reactions to it.

Hire him for 12000 INR fixed part of the CTC and 25 Lakhs of Esops with yearly vesting.
Let him marry the girl and then let him go within an year…”
“My question is did it work, like did it gave you an extra edge to shortlist this person?”
