On efforts to cancel passports and Visas of the alleged farmers involved in violence, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Haryana's Ambala, Joginder Sharma said, "We have identified those involved in violence while coming to Haryana from Punjab in the name of farmers' protest. We have identified them with CCTV cameras and drone cameras. We will request the Ministry and embassy to cancel their Visas and passports. Their photos, name and address will be given to the passport office. We are working on cancelling their passports."

The Rouse Avenue court has dismissed the plea of accused Christian James Michel in the alleged Rs 3600 crore VVIP chopper scam seeking release from custody on the ground that he has undergone a maximum period of detention. He was extradited from the UAE in December 2018. Since then, he has been in custody.

Gangster Kapil Sangwan, who is operating his gang sitting in London, has reportedly taken the responsibility for the murder of INLD Haryana Unit Chief Nafe Singh Rathee in Bahadurgarh. Reports claimed that Sangwan took the responsibility on social media.

Kapil Sangwan allegedly revealed that INLD leader Nafe Singh Rathee had a close friendship with gangster Manjeet Mahal, who along with the gangster’s brother was involved in allegedly capturing property.

Sangwan even sent a warning saying, the one who will join hands with his enemies will meet the same fortune.

The gangster even labelled several severe allegations on the leader.

The police are investigating the matter and Kapil Sangwan’s claims are being analysed.

A female leopard around 18 to 20 months old was rescued on Wednesday from the residential area of Seer Bala village of Ghordi block in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir by the Wildlife Department.

She said, "The news of sudden death of many people in a train accident in Jamtara district of Jharkhand is extremely saddening. Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta has directed the Jamtara Deputy Commissioner to continue the relief and rescue work and has also directed the Civil Surgeon Jamtara to provide proper treatment to the injured. The Health Minister has directed that there should be no negligence in treatment.

After the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) declaring two Jammu and Kashmir's organisation, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to X, saying, "Striking terror networks with undiminished vehemence the government has declared the Muslim Conference Jammu & Kashmir (Sumji faction) and Muslim Conference Jammu & Kashmir (Bhat faction) as Unlawful Associations. These outfits have been engaging in activities against the sovereignty and integrity of the nation."

Now, 75 out of 100 rural families get water through pipes."

Packages used to be announced for the farmers of Vidarbha from Delhi, but they were looted in the middle. Poor, farmers and the ‘Adivasis (Tribals)’ did not get anything. Today, I pressed one button, and Rs 21,000 crores of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi reached the accounts of crores of farmers. This is Modi's guarantee."

In a major crackdown in the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Paper leak case, the state's Special Operations Group (SOG), STF Unit of Gorakhpur and the Etawah police have reportedly arrested four accused in the case. As per information, marksheets of candidates, admit cards, blank cheques, mobile phones and laptop have been recovered from them.

The Supreme Court will hear the plea filed by the Muslim side on the Gyanvapi case on March 1. 
The Muslim side has challenged the December 19 order of the Allahabad High Court in the Supreme Court, in which the court had rejected five petitions of the Muslim side.

In these petitions, along with the decision of the lower court to consider the case demanding restoration of the temple in place of Gyanvapi Mosque as worth hearing (Order 7 Rule 11), the permission for ASI survey was also challenged.

On BJP delegation meeting with the Election Commission of India, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, "The BJP always strives to ensure transparency and the increased involvement of voters in the election process. Today, the BJP delegation met the ECI with some requests- the main one being, easing the process of voting for our urban voters. Those living in high-rise apartment complexes should be able to vote in polling booths set up in their building. Our second request is that the percentage of video recording done on booths should be increased from 50% to 100%. The process of media approvals should be reformed so that every party should get adequate time to share their idea through media."
