In an ongoing crackdown on Rohingyas and Bangladeshis residing illegally in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the police have intensified efforts, seizing all 'illegal' documents, as per reports on Wednesday, December 20. Aadhar Cards, bank cards, and assorted papers were confiscated during raids.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police have filed more than 10 FIRs, resulting in 18 arrests. According to police officials, these individuals obtained these illegal documents with the help of locals.

Additionally, 40 individuals were detained for questioning. The intensified operations aim to curb unlawful activities and ascertain the extent of involvement within the Rohingya community.
