New Delhi: Kulwinder Kaur, the now-suspended CISF constable who had allegedly slapped actor-turned-BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, said on Friday that she doesn't care about the job as she would willingly sacrifice thousands of such jobs in order to uphold the honor of her mother.

Mujhe naukri ki fikar nahin, maa ki ijjat par aisi hazaaron naukriyaan kurbaan hain (I do not care about the job…Willing to give up on thousands of such jobs for the honor of my mother)”, she wrote in a post on social media platform ‘X’.

For the uninitiated, Kangana Ranaut had in a video message on Thursday said that she was hit in the face and abused by a CISF constable during the security check at the Chandigarh airport while the actor was on her way to Delhi. The ugly fracas broke out two days after she was elected to the Lok Sabha from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.

An investigation has been launched into the incident and the Mohali Police has booked Kaur under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 341 (wrongful restraint) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The CISF, tasked with providing security at airports, has also ordered a court of inquiry into the incident.

Meanwhile, farmer unions have thrown weight behind the CISF woman personnel, saying the matter required complete probe.
