Karnataka Exit By-Poll Results Live: Polling in all three Assembly seats in Karnataka is underway today as people are exercising their franchise to seal the fate of candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ), the JDS, the Congress and others. These three seats will either make the ruling party stronger or provide an edge to the Opposition. Karnataka By-Election Exit Polls LIVE: The much-awaited exit polls for Karnataka by-election are here as the voting concluded on three assembly seats. The PMARQ, Matrize exit polls are based on surveys conducted as voters leave polling booths, and will provide early insights into the likely results in both states. Karnataka Exit By-Poll Results Live:

  • In Sandor, the Congress is predicted to get 43%, the BJP is predicted to get 40%, while others are likely to get 17%. 
  • In Shiggaon, the Congress is likely to obtain a vote percentage of 41%, the BJP is likely to get a vote percentage of 47%, while others are likely to get 12%. 
  • In terms of poll percentage in Channapatna, the Congress is likely to get a vote percentage of 41 percent, the JD(S) is likely to get a vote percentage of 45 percent, while others are likely to get 14 percent of the vote in the by-election.
  • In the Sandur Assembly seat, the Congress is more likely to register a win, which was earlier held by party Lok Sabha MP E Tukaram.
  • In Shiggaon, the PMARQ has predicted a win for the BJP, which was earlier held by BJP leader and former CM Basavaraj Bommai. 
  • As per the PMARQ prediction, the Janata Dal (Secular), an NDA ally, is likely to win the Channapatna Assembly seat, which was earlier held by JDS President and Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy. 
  • In Channapatna, JD(S) candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy is running under the NDA banner, facing veteran Congress MLA CP Yogeshwar. In Shiggaon, Bharath Bommai of BJP, son of former CM Basavaraj Bommai, competes with Congress’s Yasir Ahmed Khan. Meanwhile, Congress candidate E Annapurna, wife of Bellary MP E Tukaram, is challenging BJP’s Bangaru Hanumanthu in Sandur.
  • A total of 45 candidates are competing for the seats, with more than 700,000 eligible voters across approximately 770 polling stations.
  • Karnataka by-elections see 81.84% voter turnout across three constituencies, with Channapatna leading at 88.48%.
  • Polling in Channapatna, Shiggaon, and Sandur began at 7 am and continued until 6 pm.
  • The by-elections were called due to the vacancy of the three Assembly seats after former Chief Ministers HD Kumaraswamy and Basavaraj Bommai were appointed as the Union Ministers, while Congress’s E Tukaram was elected to the Lok Sabha. A total of 45 candidates were competing for the seats, with more than 7,00,000 eligible voters across approximately 770 polling stations. The results of the by-poll are scheduled for November 23.
