Nafe Singh Rathee Murder Case Updates: Indian National Lok Dal Haryana President Nafe Singh Rathee was killed after unidentified assailants sprayed their SUV with bullets in Bahadurgarh near Delhi on Sunday. Doctors at the hospital said that Rathee had suffered injuries in neck, stomach, spine and thigh and suffered heavy blood loss. Along with Rathee, three private gunmen hired by former MLA Nafe Singh Rathee for security also suffered injuries in the attack while party worker Jai Kisan also lost his life. Rathee was elected MLA from Bahadurgarh twice in 1996 and 2005. The Haryana Government has handed over the probe to Special Task Force.

CBI Probe Will Be Ordered: Vij in Assembly
"CBI probe into killing of INLD's Haryana chief Nafe Singh Rathee will be ordered," said Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij in Assembly.
Abhay Chautala At Rathee's Residence
Senior leader and INLD general secretary Abhay Singh Chautala arrived at the residence late leader Nafe Singh Rathee. Chautala was seen sitting in protest along with other party leaders an supporters at the residence in Bahadurgarh.

Former MLA among 12 booked by Haryana Police
In an FIR registered on Monday, police named former MLA Naresh Kaushik, Karambir Rathee, Ramesh Rathee, Satish Rathee, Gaurav Rathee, Rahul and Kamal. The FIR also mentions five unnamed people.

Jungle Raj Being Established in Haryana: Deepender Hooda
Targetting the Khattar government over murder of INLD Haryana chief Nafe Singh Rathee, Congress MP Deepender Hooda said that “Jungle Raj” is being established in Haryana.

“First of all, I pay homage to Nafe Singh Rathee. Entire Haryana is grieving today. Every day, incidents of murder, firing, ransom, kidnapping, and rape are being reported in Haryana.s per the Social Progress Index (SPI) report, Haryana has been termed as the most unsafe state in the country. The Government has proven to be a complete failure. The onus lies on Haryana CM and Haryana Home Minister. Why is such 'jungle raj' being established in Haryana?” said Hooda.

Nafe Singh's Murder Rocks Haryana Assembly
Opposition staged protest as the proceedings of the Haryana Legislative assembly began today morning. CM Manohar Lal Khattar also led the House in paying tributes to Rathee.
Senior Congress leader Raghuvir Singh Kadian demanded CBI probe in the matter. "It is a political murder and the first such incident in Haryana after it was carved out as a separate state (in 1966). Either a probe by a high court judge or a high court judge-monitored CBI probe should be held into the incident," Kadian said in the Assembly.
Nafe Singh Rathee's Supporters Protest in Jhajjar
The supporters of late INLD leader Nafe Singh Rathee staged a massive protest in Jhajjar, Haryana. The supporters blocked roads as well. The protesters are demanding the arrest of killers of Nafe Singh Rathore. Supporters of the late leader were also seen outside the Civil Hospital of Bahadurgarh.
Scanning CCTVs, Collecting Scientific Evidence: Jhajjar DSP
Regarding the investigation, Jhajjar DSP Shamsher Singh said, " We have registered an FIR on the basis of the complaint received. Five teams have been constituted with 2 DSPs to arrest the accused. Investigation is underway. We are collecting physical and scientific evidence. We are collecting evidence from all CCTV cameras and also checking suspected vehicles.
Rathee's Killers Caught on CCTV
The ones accused of killing INLD leader Rathee have beeb caught in CCTV camera as they were following his vehicle. In the video, it can be clearly seen that while one is busy driving, the other man sitting next to him is speaking with someone on phone. Sources say that the assassination has been done on the direction of some gang.
Haryana Police Names 4 Men in FIR
The Haryana Police has named 4 men- Naresh Kaushik, Ramesh Rathi, Sathish Rathi, and Rahul in the FIR. The Haryana Police has registered the FIR under sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 302, 120B, 25-27- 54-59 Arms Act of the Indian Penal Code.
Family Refuses To Perform Last Rites Until Killers Arrested
The family of Nafe Singh Rathee has refused to perform his last rites until the assailants are arrested. Nafe Singh's son Jitendra Rathee said, “After my father's death, his body was shifted to the mortuary at around 3-3:30 am and an FIR was registered at around 4 am. We will not perform the last rites of my father until the names of the accused mentioned in the FIR are arrested and we are provided security. I think local politicians are involved in this."
“We demand police and administration to arrest all the accused as early as possible. My father has been requesting for security since 5 years. There were continuous inputs from CID and my father kept raising issues against the government and this is the reason why he was shot dead," Jitendra Rathee claimed.
