Maharashtra govt announces slum redevelopment committee for Pune

Maharashtra Housing Ministe Jitendra Awhad on Saturday said a committee will be set up to review redevelopment of slums in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.

A plan for redevelopment of slums will be finalised once the committee files its report, which will be discussed with deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, he said, after chairing a review meeting of officials of the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA).
