Split to Snooping: Did Mahua Stalk Estranged Partner's Girlfriend at Delhi's 5-Star?

New Delhi: Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mahua Moitra has been hitting headlines these days for all the wrong reasons. Days after getting expelled from the Lok Sabha over the 'cash-for-query' allegation, trouble seems to be mounted for the TMC leader as her estranged partner and Supreme Court advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai in his complaint to CBI and Home Minister Amit Shah alleged that Mahua used to stalk her ex-boyfriend Suhan Mukerji and his girlfriend Helena Lersch, a German resident. 

Republic has accessed the explosive complaint letter wherein Dehadrai claimed that both Suhan Mukherji and one of her female friends have fallen prey to illegal snooping, supposedly orchestrated by Mahua Moitra.  

“She had been actively tracking her ex-boyfriend, Mr. Suhaan Mukerji as she suspected him of being in a relationship with a German lady by the name of Ms. Helena Lersch. Allegedly Moitra was not just stalking Mukerji but Ms. Lersch too”, Dehadrai said in his letter to CBI and Shah. 

Upping the ante, Dehadrai further claimed, “I was horrified to learn that on one occasson, Moitra, upon, learning from her police complaints who used cellular triangulation to obtain the precise physical location of Mr. Mukerji's phone, that he was staying at the Shangri La Hotel in Delhi.”

Who is Suhaan Mukerji? 

On X (formerly Twitter), The Hawk Eye claimed that Suhaan Mukerji is among the top lawyers in India who owns his (legal) lobbying firm PLR Chambers in the field of governance, regulation, and public policy. Notedly, Adv Mukerji was part of the legal advisor of the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (2012-14). 

Mahua Moitra Reacts

Reacting strongly to the letter, Mahua tweeted, "Urging MHA to set up a special Director CBI to probe all complaints by jilted exes pan India. Happy to see Shahenshah of all Peeping Toms ccd on the complaint. He honed his surveillance skills covering up for his Sahib in Gujarat. Can get to the bottom of this as well. Good luck."
