Massive Fire Breaks Out in Building in Mumbai's Bhendi Bazaar

Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in a building in a four-storey residential building in Bhendi Bazaar on Monday in the afternoon hours.

Upon receiving the information, four fire brigade vehicles arrive at the site to control the fire.

The fire broke out on the 4th floor of a building in Masjid Bandar, news agency ANI reported citing the Mumbai Fire Brigade. 

As per officials, the blaze erupted at around 1 pm in the building located on Chakala Street in Masjid area

After receiving information, police and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and started the rescue and fire-fighting operation.

The exact cause of the fire was yet to ascertained and officials are currently looking into the matter.
