Massive fire engulfs Ankura Hospital in Hyderabad

A huge fire was reported on the top floor of Ankura Hospital at Gudi Malkapur area in Hyderabad on Saturday evening. As panic gripped, the authorities immediately began discharging patients from the hospital.

Fire personnel rushed towards pillar number 68 to douse the fire. Several patients were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. 

The fire erupted at 5:30 pm after outdoor lights placed on the hospital terrace caught fire due to a short circuit. The hospital staff immediately alerted cops who informed the fire officials about the incident.
