MP Sports Minister Flouts Traffic Norms, Celebrates India's T20 WC Win on Moving Car's Roof

Bhopal: Sports minister of Madhya Pradesh Vishvas Sarang, in a video that is going viral, can be allegedly seen celebrating team India's T20 World Cup win by sitting on a speeding car's roof.

Congress Demands Action

The Congress demanded police action against Sarang and even threatened to gherao the police headquarters if no action was taken. Congress Spokesperson Abbas Hafeez raised questions about the police's handling of the incident and asked why no legal action was taken against the minister.

Hafeez, accusing the police administration of being mute spectators, pointed out the disparity in the enforcement of the law by the cops. He said while action is always taken against the poor for not wearing a helmet and seatbelt, the minister's behaviour has gone unpunished.
