J-K: To streamline the morning assembly process, the circular outlined 16 steps for schools to incorporate.
New Delhi: In a move aimed at fostering “unity and discipline” among students, the School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a directive for all schools in the Union Territory to kickstart their morning assemblies with the national anthem.
The Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, conveyed through a circular the necessity for a standardized morning assembly protocol across the Union Territory. "Morning assembly should begin with the National Anthem as per standard protocol," the circular, dated Wednesday, emphasized.
Highlighting the significance of morning assemblies, the department underscored their role in instilling values of moral integrity, communal harmony, and mental peace among students.
To streamline the morning assembly process, the circular outlined 16 steps for schools to incorporate.
These steps include inviting guest speakers, raising awareness about environmental issues, and combating the menace of drug abuse.
