Netflix & Hotstar had an epic 'Love triangle' fight on Twitter, You're 'insecure' says Hotstar

Netflix and Hotstar just had a ‘relationship’ banter and it all started with a simple tweet that Netflix put on its official Twitter account. Netflix, known for posting quirky tweets, has its Twitter feed with a treasure of hilarious jokes. 

On the fateful day of on May 23, 2019,  Netflix tweeted, ‘We hang out every weekend. We eat all our meals together. Your parents know about us. Hate to break it to you, but we may be in a serious relationship.’

Soon after, a Twitter user commented on the thread and said ‘We need to talk. I have been cheating on you with @HotstarPremium’.

Joining the game, Hotstar replied to the Tweet and said, ‘Sorry, not sorry.’

But it did not end there. Netflix had a perfect response to Hotstar's comment. It read, ‘We don’t mind you experimenting with a hot star but they’d never make you stream like we do.’

After which Hotstar posted the link of a web series called 'Insecure', trying out a 'picture pun'.
