The cases of rash driving and careless driving on the roads are increasing everyday and instead of learning from these things some people are still falling for ego boosting. In a recent case a private ambulance driver was beaten by some people on Sunday night in Bengaluru. The ambulance was carrying an infant and was going towards Vani Vilas Hospital in Bengaluru coming from a private hospital in Tumakuru. Moreover the 5-month old baby was very critically ill and was supported on oxygen. 

The attack happened near Nelamangala toll plaza.

The incident took place when the 4 men in the car,allegedly intoxicated, started chasing the ambulance. The chased the ambulance for five to six kilometers and intercepted its way at the toll plaza. Even after knowing the case of infants these men showed no mercy. The ambulance driver was allegedly beaten right in front of the police officers stationed at the toll plaza.

The video was shared on social media by the users and the caption reads, “Ambulance driver assaulted for overtaking car Bengaluru - An ambulance driver overtook an Innova car while a 5-month-old boy was being rushed to the Vani Vilas hospital with an oxygen tube at the Nelamangala toll plaza in Tumkur. The people of the Innova car, who did not like the ambulance driver overtaking them, chased the ambulance for 5 kilometers and attacked the driver. The parents of a 5-month-old boy who was barely alive in an ambulance were brutally beaten by the thugs.”

The viral video shows the men attacking the driver through the driver side window while asking him to get out of the vehicle. And they completely ignored the ongoing situations and the plea of parents who were begging the men to leave them so they could reach the hospital. The whole incident happened because the ambulance driver overtook the men in Innova car, who did not like this and chased the ambulance till they were not able to stop it and beat him for no reason. The men were under the influence of alcohol, as told by the driver. Later, police intervened in the matter and stopped the attackers and also ensured that the ambulance reached on time.
