Parliamnent breach accused Manoranjan, Karnataka techie Sai Krishna were roommates: Sources

Vidyagiri, Karnataka: After the Delhi Police officials picked up a senior software engineer identified as Sai Krishna from Vidyagiri in Karnataka’s Bagalkot city on Wednesday as part of their ongoing probe into the December 13 Parliament security breach, it was revealed that he was the roommate of Manoranjan D, another accused in the security breach case. 

Sai Krishna, a resident of Bengaluru and the son of a retired police officer, is employed with a multinational company, claimed sources.

While it was revealed that arrested accused in the Parliament security breach, Manoranjan, and Sai Krishna were roommates, it's yet to be ascertained whether they were classmates during their days as engineering students in Bengaluru.  

Krishna’s name emerged during the ongoing probe when Manoranjan’s diary was inspected. It suggested a potential connection between them.

A police team has been interrogating Manoranjan’s parents in Mysuru for three consecutive days, seeking insights into the event that raised concerns about parliamentary security protocols.

Parliament security breach

The accused involved in Parliament security breach include Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, who used yellow smoke canisters inside Lok Sabha, and Neelam Devi and Amol Shinde, who sued the canisters outside Parliament.

Another two accused were Lalit Jha and Vicky Sharma, both from Gurgaon. Jha reportedly shot videos of the other accused deploying smoke canisters outside and Sharma sheltered him to evade arrest.

Sources indicate that all five individuals who arrived from outside Delhi had stayed together in Gurugram at the residence of Lalit Jha.
