Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameshwaram to offer prayers on the occasion of Ram Navami on April 6th. During his visit, he will also inaugurate the newly constructed Pamban Bridge. Spanning 2.10 kilometers, the bridge will improve rail connectivity between Mandapam on the mainland and Rameswaram on Pamban Island. While the inauguration takes place this year, the bridge is set to become operational by April 2025.

The Rameshwaram Temple, also known as Ramanathaswamy Temple, is one of the most revered Hindu temples in India. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is located on Rameshwaram Island in Tamil Nadu and holds immense spiritual, architectural, and historical significance.
