PM Modi's second term is a 'God sent opportunity to lead India into a Golden Era' says Biocon MD Kiran Mazumdar Shaw

Wishes from across the world poured in as the counting of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 neared its conclusion. From closer home, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw took to Twitter to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his thumping victory. 

Biocon MD and Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar Shaw said that Prime Minister's second term is a 'God sent opportunity to lead India into a Golden Era'. 

Earlier on May 23, she joined a 'billion voices to congratulate' PM Modi and NDA on the 'landslide victory'.

In her blog post, she had written that NDA 1.0 succeeded in formulating a five-year strategic plan which has been well appreciated by the country as is evident from the poll results. She added that the NDA's second term must introduce policies that are 'bold, innovative and transformational'. 

"NDA 2.0 must focus on the implementation of this plan in order to unlock opportunities for inclusive economic growth. Over the next five years NDA 2.0 must introduce policies that are bold, innovative and transformational to translate the economic potential into prosperity for all" .

The PM-elect led the NDA to a mega win sweeping the Lok Sabha elections winning 352 of the 542 seats polled with BJP alone notching up 303 seats.
