Vote counting for the Faridabad Lok Sabha seat will begin at 8 AM. Haryana has a total of 10 Lok Sabha seats. The Faridabad seat is considered a bell weather seat. It voted for Congress in 2004 and 2009. In 2014, BJP wrested control of the seat and held it in 2019.
BJP has fielded Krishan Pal Gurjar, the incumbent MP, from the seat. Congress has fielded Mahender Pratap Singh. Back in 2019, BJP's Mr. Krishan Pal secured 9,13,222 votes (68.68% of the vote share). Congress' Avtar Singh Bhadana was able to secure only 2,68,327 votes (20.85% of the vote share).
