Weeks ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha polls in the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's brother Prahlad Modi made a prediction of the poll result for the Bharatiya Janata Party.

On being questioned who would win 2019 elections, PM Modi's brother Prahalad Modi expressed confidence that the party will get more than 300 seats in the coming Lok Sabha polls, repeating its 2014 victory, and Narendra Modi will return as the Prime Minister of Indian once again.

"I am confident that the next general elections will be a repeat of 2014.BJP will get more than 300 seats and Narendra Modi another term as Prime Minister," Prahlad Modi, who is in the city to visit temples and religious centres, told reporters at the airport in Karnataka's Mangaluru on Tuesday.

He further said that the NDA-led Modi government at the Centre had been successful in implementing various development works throughout the country in the last four and a half years.

Later on being question about Congress' newly-inducted General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh East Priyanka Gandhi's entry into politics, he said that her political entry "would not do any magic for the Rahul Gandhi-led Congress party in the polls.

In an exclusive interview with Republic TV, recently-appointed JD(U) vice president and famed poll-strategist Prashant Kishor responded to the question on who will win the 2019 Elections.

Kishor said that while he was no longer a poll-strategist, he felt that it would be the NDA that comes to power after the Lok Sabha elections and that it would be Narendra Modi who will re-emerge Prime Minister.

In 2014, Narendra Modi delivered the BJP's best result ever after he was named the party's prime ministerial candidate. In 2014 Lok Sabha polls, BJP-led NDA claimed a landslide victory by winning 336 seats out of 543 seats. BJP itself won 282 seats, making it the first parliamentary majority by a single party since 1984.
