Prajwal Revanna's mother Bhavani Revanna's bail plea has been rejected by the special people's representatives court in connection with the KR Nagar kidnap case. 

The SIT will be questioning Karnataka Sex Scandal accused Prajwal Revanna on his finances for the Germany trip, and who sheltered and harboured hime abroad for 35 days. The investigation agency will also question Prajwal Revanna on who assisted him to escape to Germany on April 27 this year, days before the scandal broke.

In the Karnataka Sleazegate, the SIT will be grilling prime accused Prajwal Revanna for the primary device on which the alleged sex tape videos were shot. The SIT will intensify questioning in connection with the missing device. If Prajwal Revanna doesn't provide satisfactory answers, there will also be a case of tampering against him. Prajwal Revanna will also be asked how many devices he has changed from 2018 to 2023.

Karnataka Sex Scandal prime accused Prajwal Revanna, who was arrested last night after he arrived in India from Germany, has been sent to police custody until June 6. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been set up to probe the case.

A Special Court for People’s Representatives began hearing Prajwal Revanna's case. The prime accused in the Karnataka sex scandal appeared before Justice KN Shivakumar.

After the conclusion of his medical exam, Prajwal was taken to the City civil court where he was produced before the 42nd ACMM court judge. The investigation team is likely to request the court to hand over Prajwal to their custody, ANI reported.

Prajwal Revanna has reached Bowring & Lady Curzon Hospital in Bengaluru for a medical examination after he was arrested by the SIT last night.

The Karnataka HC single bench presided over by Justice Krishna Dixit, has adjourned the SIT's plea to cancel the bail granted to HD Revanna in connection with the KR Nagar Kidnap Case.

The hearing has been adjourned to next week.

The session court had granted bail to HD Revanna, Prajwal's father, that the case doesn't attract sections 364 and 365.

On SIT arresting Prajwal Revanna in the sexual assault case, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said, "Prajwal Revanna made a statement that he will return to  India and will appear before SIT... Last night, he had arrived from Germany. So, SIT has arrested him and now the due course of law will take place... They have applied for bail."

An all-women cops team executed the arrest warrant against Prajwal Revanna in sexual assault cases.

There was also a symbolic message to the victims that women officers were not afraid of anyone, PTI reported quoting a source.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) summoned Prajweal Revanna's mother Bhavani in an alleged case of kidnapping.

The notice read, "In your letter dated 15-05-24, you mentioned that you would provide clarification at Channambika Niwas in Holenarasipur. In connection with KR Nagar Kidnap case registered under 149/2024 Under IPC 364,365,109 and 120(B).

In this case, you need to be interrogated."

It further asked her to be personally presented before the team on Saturday, June 1.

"Therefore, we advise you to be personally present on 01-06-24, as you agreed.

We will arrive for the interrogation on June 1 with women officers from 10 am to 5 pm at your aforementioned address. You are requested to remain at the same address."

"Prajwal Revanna has been arrested pertaining to the Holenarasipura town police station case. As of now we will have to see what happens in connection with the anticipatory bail," Prajwal Revanna's lawyer Arun media.

He further requested that they do not want a media trial, and informed that the SIT informed him about the arrest now they will legally go ahead with it.

"My request is that we do not want a media trial and you can do your job but wait for the courts of law to decide. The SIT has informed me about the arrest now so we will legally go ahead with."

"As of now, he's arrested in one case (Holenarsipura Town Police Station).  He has appealed to the media not to do a media trial.  He has said he'll cooperate for the investigation. Yes, the anticipatory bail will become infructuous, but I request you to come to court and see how that matter goes," Arun added. 

Accused of sexually harassing and assaulting women in Hassan constituency, Prajwal Revanna on early Friday morning was arrested by all women cops by Karnataka Police after landing at the Bengaluru airport.

As per the latest reports, the SIT is contemplating a ‘potency test’ on Prajwal Revanna who was arrested on Friday morning. 

As per Republic's sources, the SIT  will seek 10-day custody of Prajwal Revanna, if remanded to judicial custody there might be a delay in the semen sample collection. 

Prajwal Revanna's lawyer, Arun, has arrived at the SIT office to meet the accused. Arun will also gather information about the case from the investigating officer, specifically regarding the Holenarasipur case.

Bhavani Revanna, mother of Prajwal Revanna, has filed an anticipatory bail in the kidnapping case in which her husband was earlier arrested. Bhavani has moved to the Karnataka High Court seeking relief from arrest by SIT. Though Bhavani has not be accused in the case, the investigation agency wants to probe her role in the case.

The order on Bhavani's anticipatory bail application will be announced today at around 11 am in the Special Court of People's Representatives. If the anticipatory bail application is rejected, it is more likely that the SIT will arrest Bhavani.

Prajwal Revanna will be taken for a medical test on Friday morning at Bowring Hospital in Bengaluru. He has arrived at the CID Office, where the SIT team will take him for his medicals. 

The medical check-up includes all general exams such as BP and sugar. As per reports, the test will also be taken to determine if he is physically fit.
