Pune: A case has been registered against BJP MLA Sunil Kamble on January 6 for slapping Police personnel on duty. The MLA has been booked under IPC section 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) at Bundgarden police station of Pune Police. 

BJP MLA Sunil Kamble on Friday allegedly slapped a police officer at an event in Pune's Sassoon Hospital. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was also present at the site of the incident. 

In the visuals that went viral on social media, Kamble can be seen losing his balance and purportedly getting angry with the police personnel standing there and slapping him.
