Jaipur: The Rajasthan government on Wednesday presented the budget for the financial year of 2024-25. The budget was presented by the state's Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari. During her budget speech, Kumari highlighted that the government is working on 10 resolutions, including improving infrastructure and making Rajasthan a $350 billion economy. "For the first time, nine greenfield expressways of more than 2,750 km will be constructed in the state." Highlighting the state government's efforts to increase employment, Diya said, “Rajasthan govt has taken resolution to fill 4 lakh vacancies in five years.” In the first, nine greenfield expressways with a total length of more than 2750 km will be constructed in the state. A DPR (Detailed Project Report) at the cost of Rs 30 crore rupees.

Repairs to roads, construction of railway bridges, underpasses, and beautification projects will be undertaken at a cost of Rs 9,000 crore.

Defence manufacturing zone will be set up.
RSRTC to get 500 buses within two years and 800 buses on service buses including 300 electric buses.
Within the next two years, 208,000 homes that currently lack electricity will receive domestic connections.
