The President of India, following the advice of the Prime Minister, has issued a directive regarding the allocation of portfolios among members of the Union Council of Ministers. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will oversee multiple key departments. In addition to his role as Prime Minister, he will be responsible for the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the Department of Atomic Energy, and the Department of Space. Furthermore, he will handle all significant policy issues and any other portfolios not specifically assigned to other ministers.

In addition to the Prime Minister's extensive responsibilities, the announcement includes a detailed allocation of various portfolios to the cabinet ministers. This structured distribution of duties ensures a focused and organized approach to governance, allowing each minister to concentrate on their specific areas of responsibility while supporting the broader agenda set by the Prime Minister.
