Sarees Worth More Than Rs 2 Lakh Stolen In Gujarat’s Anandnagar
The manager of saree showroom claimed that when he reached the saree outlet, it was found that the cash worth Rs 2 lakh was stolen along with 5 sarees.
Ahmedabad: In a house break-in executed by the thieves, sarees and cash worth Rs 3.64 lakh were stolen from a sari showroom near Shivranjani Crossroads in Gujarat.
According to the police, the manager of the saree showroom claimed that when he reached the saree outlet, he found that the cash box was broken and around Rs 2 lakh was missing from the box.

Later, the manager also realized that five sarees worth Rs 2 lakh were also missing from the spot.
Thieves had also planned to leave no footprints, in this regard, they also stole the DVR which was placed in the showroom resulting in no CCTV footage available.
According to the CCTV footage of the mall, it was found that some persons had entered the showroom after midnight on Saturday and were seen removing the fan and glass from the washroom's ventilator. Later, those persons were spotted moving out after an hour.
Earlier, Gujarat police arrested a seasoned thief with a long history of robberies spanning several states.
Last month, Rohit Kanubhai Solanki landed in a police net in connection with a theft of Rs 1 lakh in Vapi.
