SGPC Files Police Complaint Against Girl for Practicing Yoga at Golden Temple

New Delhi: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committe (SGPC) filed a police complaint against a young woman for allegedly practing yoga in Golden Temple.  SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami expressed deep concern over what he termed as a violation of the sanctity of the holy site.

Addressing the media, Advocate Dhami emphasized that certain individuals were deliberately disregarding the sacredness of the Golden Temple and engaging in what he described as "heinous acts." He further stated that such actions were unacceptable and went against the principles and traditions upheld by the Sikh community.

The SGPC, responsible for the management and preservation of Sikh shrines in Punjab, has taken swift action in response to the incident.
