Chennai: It as a miraculous escape for a schoolboy who fell from a speeding bus in Kanchipram district in Tamil Nadu. Fortunately, the minor didn't sustain any major injuries. The incident reportedly took place in the the district in August 2022, and the video has recently resurfaced on social media.

Old visuals have emerged from the scene wherein the bus can be seen moving in a high speed with many students hanging from its door and windows. As the speeding vehicle proceeds, one of the boys looses its grasp over the window handle and falls down.

Soon after falling down, the boy tried to get up. The road didn't look crowded at the time of the accident. The incident could have proved dangerous for the boy as he fell down from near the ear wheel of the bus. Even after the incident, the bus kept moving forward in high speed on a highway with many students hanging on the sides and the foot-board. All the passengers clinging on the bus were carrying bags. This incident has raised concerns about the safety of children using public transport.

2 Schoolgirls Fall From Moving Van in Vadodara

Earlier in June, two girl students sustained injuries after they fell from a moving school van while it was on its way to drop them home in Gujarat. The incident took place in Vadodara on June 19. The van, carrying eight students, was passing through the Tulsishyam Society on Tarsali Road when the incident was reported.

The accused driver been identified as Pratik Padhiyar (23). Visuals had emerged wherein two girls could be seen falling on the road after the back door of the vehicle suddenly opened.

The intensity of the fall was such that one of the girls was struggling to stand on her feet while their bags were seen lying on the road. After realising that the girls had fallen on the road, residents of the area came to their rescue and provided them assistance before they were sent back home.

Both the van driver and owner were arrested. During probe, the accused driver told police that the rear door was defective and it opened when the kids pushed it. Probe revealed that the driver didn't even have a  permission to drive a school van as he had a learning license for driving a four wheeler and he started driving a few weeks ago. Police charged him for endangering human lives and driving a school van without proper license.
