In a video that has recently gone viral on social media, concerns have been raised among netizens about a shopkeeper at Guwahati Railway Station who was caught charging extra for a product. The incident, shared on Instagram by a user named Avi, shows the shopkeeper demanding more money than the listed price for a cake, leading to a confrontation with the customer.

The video, which has garnered over 10.7 million views since its posting on June 4, depicts a customer attempting to purchase a cake priced at ₹40. However, the shopkeeper insists on charging ₹45. When the customer questions why he is being asked to pay more than the marked price, the shopkeeper has no satisfactory response. Instead, he reacts angrily, retrieves the product, and returns the customer’s money.

The clip escalates as the shopkeeper then attempts to hit the customer's phone, further agitating the situation. According to Avi, who posted the video, the shopkeeper was subsequently fined ₹1,000 and terminated from his position.
