In an interesting Twitter exchange, Sonam Wangchuk, the inspiration behind Aamir Khan's character in 3 Idiots, recited the story behind the Mahindra jeep that was recycled into a roof to business tycoon Anand Mahindra. Earlier, the car-converted-roof had everyone, including Mr Mahindra, impressed. He was so fascinated with the idea that he shared a series of photos showing how smartly an old car was recycled and used as an alternative for a roof of a house in Ladakh. Take a look:

On Monday, Mr Wangchuk tweeted a response from his Twitter handle and revealed the remarkable story behind the recycled jeep. He said that the before taking a new mode of usage, Mahindra jeep served the institute between 1997 to 2007.
